A new café has opened in Macclesfield, and it's in a hidden part of town you may never knew existed.

Revive Café is the new venture of Tasha Gittins, formerly of Bites in Duke's Court.

Her new venture is located at Sunderland House, opposite Cohen's Chemist on Sunderland Street and next to Scents and Sassology.

Revive offers all day breakfast, toasties, paninis, bagels and wraps.

There's also a vast sandwich Menu and oatcakes with four different types of fillings.

There's also unique homemade bakes such as a Freddo Tiffin, Mint Aero Brownie and Terry's Chocolate Orange Brownie.

"Our USP is our milkshakes and desserts," said owner Tasha.

"We also do a really great afternoon tea. And we hope to introduce bubble tea in the near future as well.

"We're also in the process of getting our alcohol licence, so we will be hosting cheese and wine nights along with lots of other little pop-ups.

"That should be ready in the next couple of weeks."

Specific dietary requirements can be catered for, with four types of alternative milk and gluten free cupcakes.

But what will steal the show is the customisable milkshake menu.

There's over 25 chocolate bar ingredients which make up the thick refreshing drink made with fresh ice cream.

There's also the option of turning it into a 'freak shake'.

This is Tasha's own creation that includes blending one her bakes like a vegan lemon drizzle or carrot cake into a milkshake.

"I've compared everywhere else where I know people are going to eat, looked at prices and made sure that I've got good quality for the value," added Tasha.

"We've gone with the best quality we can get for the price we offer."

There's also fresh smoothies with an option of a protein boost as well.

Revive is currently open 9-5 daily. But Tasha continues to work into the night as she tops up their delectable homemade bakes.

For one week only this week, they are trialling 7am opening on Thursday and Friday.

This is to see if the train traffic, early risers and construction workers fancy trying some of their delicious meals.

There's also another niche for little ones inside Revive.

"I have a child as well and she brings all her friends here," added Tasha.

"So we have created a little kids corner with coloured pencils and toys.

They have a loyalty card which offers a hot drink with a fifth purchase, and 20% off a tenth. They also sell gift vouchers. (Image - Alexander Greensmith / Macclesfield Nub News)

"That's one of the reasons why we are open until five."

Outside of their opening hours, they are available to cater for parties, events, corporate lunches and to bake celebration cakes.

The new eatery has 26 covers.
