A Macclesfield bar which was forced to close last summer is now up for sale.

The site of Capri Bar Lounge was ordered to be shut by police officers in Macclesfield last August, after it was caught serving underage drinkers.

Now, Macclesfield's Greenham Commercial is advertising the sale of the building where the venue once stood.

The premises, of 85 Mill Street, could be purchased for £300,000.

It comprises 3287 square feet, and is next to another empty unit to the right and Mia's Treacle Bites to the left.

The listing describes: "It is arranged over three floors plus a cellar, the ground floor being the main trading area with upper floors being utilised as accommodation, offices, kitchen and male and female WCs. The upper floors have separate ground floor access and could be suitable for redevelopment, subject to appropriate consents.

"There is a dumbwaiter between ground and second floor. There is a barrel lift in the cellar."
