A Macclesfield dentist has applied for a sign to help people locate where in town they are.

The dentist can be a nervous procedure for some, but the last thing people should be worried about is finding where the dentist actually is.

Unfortunately, Precision Medical Clinic - ironically - have had their clientele struggle to find their precise location.

Situated inside Fence House at 84 Buxton Road, Precision Medical Clinic is a new and exclusive dental medical and cosmetic surgery.

The east Macclesfield dentist have applied for another sign to help signpost where they are.

Hedgerows currently obscure the entrance for pedestrians, but a small vinyl sign could help make things easier for clients.

The planning application asks for a "Small vinyl - easy removable banner outside the building on the fence to let people know that Dental surgery has been open here."

"We have been open for 9 months now and constantly people are complaining that they can not find us. Also small plaque outside the building (not on the building - but on metal post) stating the name of the surgery, opening hours and a phone number."

Signs already exists outside, but this does not have much of the above information, and a third sign will help to improve visibility.

The dentist - of SK10 1JS - wants to implement a new black and golden sign.

A prospective new sign would be closer to ground level, underneath their current signage, which would remain as part of the plans.
