A Macclesfield entrepreneur is bringing the cafe to the people.

Eddie Golding has enjoyed a fruitful period since launching his latest business venture, The Butty Van Man, earlier this year.

So much so that he has now been able to purchase a second van to deliver hot and cold food to offices and building sites in and around Macclesfield.

This comes following 10 years working in the hospitality industry, with Eddie having owned multiple takeaways and bars in the area.

He said "With rent and business rates at an all-time high it made sense to bring the cafe to the people.

"The first few weeks have been mad busy with over 35 stops in a day.

"We never get a second to think!"

The Butty Van Man launched in May.

From Monday to Friday, the van visits businesses around town between 7am and 3pm, delivering lunch, drinks and snacks.

The business's success has allowed Eddie to buy a second van and he is now on the lookout for new stops to add to his route.
