A two-in-one event will raise money for a good cause in Macclesfield.

The Rossendale Trust's Fashion Show and Christmas Market will take place on November 7.

The fundraiser will support the Sutton-based cause which provides supported living care to adults with learning and some physical disabilities.

Please note, unlike their summer fete, this event is not held at their Hollins Lane home. It is instead held at AstraZeneca, in Hurdsfield. Susane Tidswell is fundraising officer at The Rossendale Trust.

"The Fashion Show is the highlight of our fundraising year and we can't wait," she said.

"This year's show is on Thursday November 7 at Millcourt Reception, Astra Zeneca, Macclesfield.

"Doors open at 6.30pm giving everyone plenty of time to browse our Christmas Market stalls.

"We have a wide variety of stall holders selling everything from jewellery to artwork, cosmetics to candles.

"It is a perfect chance to start Christmas shopping with some unique gift ideas."

"At 7:30pm the catwalk show begins and what an amazing, uplifting experience it is. Our tenants and staff join together to show off the latest autumn and winter collection from SOS Boutique, Bramhall and Marks & Spencer. The music plays, everybody dances, and everybody has a wonderful time.

"After the show there will be more time for shopping before its 'eyes down' at 9 pm for a game of bingo. Everyone has one free bingo card but additional cards can be purchased on the night.
