A Macclesfield coffee roastery is said to breathe new life into Flour Water Salt.

Flour Water Salt first opened on Market Place in 2018. They briefly had a stall at The Picturedrome as well.

The bakers and café on Market Place has been shut in 2023, but it won't be shut for long as Macclesfield's Kickback Coffee are rumoured to move in and have a high street presence in their name.

If you've been to an independent restaurant or café in Macclesfield, it is likely going to serve Kickback Coffee.

The bean rosters are based at The Old Brickworks, Bakestonedale Road, in the beautiful surroundings Pott Shrigley.

It has gotten to the point where the only Macclesfield establishments that don't serve Kickback-grinded beans are the big chains e.g Costa, Nero and Coffee#1.

So to have a physical town centre premises under their name feels like a natural fit, as they are already a successful independent brand many Macclesfield shoppers are aware of.

Macclesfield: Kickback Coffee have been contacted for comment.
