Macclesfield man wanted for connection to Bollington assault

A Macclesfield man is wanted for an assault four miles away in Bollington.

Police are appealing to the public to help trace wanted man Samuel Cannon.

The 31-year-old, who is best known to associates as Sam, lives in Macclesfield, but also has links to the West Midlands area.

He is said to have connections with people from Birmingham, which may help track him down, in the hopes he will come forward regarding a recent crime.

Sam is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Bollington area on Sunday 6 June.

Cannon is described as white, around 6' 2" tall and of proportionate build. He has short brown hair and facial hair, along with brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Sam or has information regarding the Macclesfield residents' location is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101 quoting IML 1005596.

Alternatively, you can be disclose information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
