Macclesfield restaurant to make comeback inside community pub

A Macclesfield restaurant is making a comeback in a new location.

Beanies, which was previously located on Mill Street, will be returning as the in-house kitchen for a The Ivy Leaf, Macclesfield.

Beanies, which was known for smashed burgers, fried chicken, desserts and shakes will soon be open for delivery and also serving inside The Ivy Leaf pub.

The pub will see their function room be transformed into a family orientated restaurant area.

Here you can enjoy a pint or two alongside a burger. Wing Wednesday - which Beanies became infamous for - will also be making a comeback.

Signature dishes include Beanies original recipe favourites such as chipotle brisket, BBQ pulled pork, fried chicken and Five macc and cheese.

In addition, theres a couple of new items including a Korean BBQ twist and a katsu-style dish.

Zak Watson, licensee at The Ivy Leaf and The Silk Trader is now a main shareholder of Beanies and plans to serve Beanies favourites across both pubs.

Beanies relaunch is planned for early-mid December so keep your eyes peeled on their socials for an exact opening date.

They are currently recruiting delivery drivers and shake shack staff (16+) so if you are interested in either of these roles then please contact [email protected].

Opening hours will be from Weds-Sun, with a view of opening seven days after seeing how it goes.

And expect many dishes to be named after Macclesfield, whether it is a Macc' n Cheese or the Big Macc'.
