A Croc-wearing runner from Macclesfield is officially a world record holder.
Tom Stott has smashed the Guinness World Record for fastest half marathon while wearing foam clogs (male).
With a time of one hour 28 minutes and six seconds at the AJ Bell Manchester Half Marathon in May, Tom took 33 minutes off the previous record set by Carlos Escobar Treviño in 2023.
Reflecting on the run upon receiving his certificate last week, Tom said: "It was harder than I expected because of the heat.
"Crocs aren't very cushioned and caused lots of blistering, which made the whole run painful."

Tom is actually in the middle of another world record attempt, running 10km a day for 500 consecutive days – the previous record being 365 days.
In doing so, he will also be trying to raise £10,000 for the mental health charity, Mind.
As of Wednesday, November 26, Tom has completed 464 runs, putting him on schedule to reach the 500 mark by the end of 2025.
"It's going very well," Tom said.
"As I get closer to day 500 the donations seem to be coming in more and more which motivates me, raising money for MIND!"
