A Macclesfield school marked Sir David Attenborough's birthday.
King's School Infant & Junior Division enjoyed a nature-focused day of learning as the national treasure celebrated his 100th birthday.
Across every class, children embraced the opportunity to learn more about one of the world's most remarkable figures, whose lifelong dedication to nature, conservation, and education has inspired generations.
Rachel Cookson, principal of King's Infant & Junior Division, said: "Sir David's passion for the planet and our responsibility in it resonates so powerfully with our Enquiry Curriculum leaning and its cultural messaging.
"This day reminds us that our children here at King's are not only eager learners, but they are also growing up to be thoughtful young citizens.
"They are starting to care deeply about the world around them, and with this comes the importance of taking responsibility."

Throughout the day, children took part in a wide range of activities, from creating artwork inspired by the natural world to researching Sir David Attenborough's life and career.
Each class tuned in for a special live assembly on Sir David, with many children also making thoughtful pledges for the future.
Year one explored composting and recycling, baked banana muffins using old bananas, and enjoyed a walk around the school grounds collecting natural treasures, which were used to decorate and create crowns.
Reception danced along to the 'Birthday Boogie' to mark the special occasion and spent time creating thoughtful birthday cards and bird feeders to be hung in the school's Sustainability Garden.
Meanwhile, year six examined specimens in the science lab and demonstrated their observation and artistic skills with their botanical artwork.
