Macclesfield school wants information as a boy was hit by a car

A Macclesfield school is appealing for information, after a young boy was hit by a car on Tuesday.
The student was crossing the road with a parent, when he was clipped by a car outside Ivy Bank Primary School.
The incident occurred before school started this morning, on May 25.
"This morning, one of our pupils has been clipped by a car whilst using the zebra crossing with his mum, the silver car didn't stop," said the school in a statement.
"We are very upset about this and ask that if you have any information about this incident, please contact the school."

It is believed the boy was not taken to hospital, but was shaken and physically hurt by the reckless driver.
It is unknown what make the silver car which caused the incident was, or who was driving.
