An Upton Priory swimming club are rallying for new volunteers.

Macclesfield Seals will be at the Heritage Open Day in St Michael's Church in Macclesfield Market Place on Saturday 9th September from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

On our stall you will be able to find out more about the Swimming Club and sign up to volunteer.

The club meet weekly on Friday evening at Macclesfield Leisure Centre and is free to members.

Volunteers receive training and DBS checks if required and will be supporting people of all ages and disabilities to access pool activities and become more confident in the water.

The Seals is a very sociable club and all abilities are welcome. We hold a Christmas Party each year at which awards are presented to the most improved swimmer and best volunteer.

The club's motto is "Disability, not inability." The club's website can be found HERE.
