A Macclesfield water bottler wants to reach four times as many restaurants and bars for 2023.

Wildboarclough sustainable water brand Crag Spring Water already supplies numerous leading bars and restaurants in Macclesfield, Cheshire and the North-West with its award-winning quality spring water, which is bottled at source in the unspoilt surroundings of the Peak District National Park.

Alongside its sustainable consumer door-to-door delivery service, supplying freshly bottled spring water to homes all over the country, burgeoning spring water brand, Crag Spring Water is expanding its B2B operation to reach more of the UK's hospitality venues, with more delivery options and expansion of its delivery fleet.

Owner Doran Binder has laid down ambitious plans to quadruple its hospitality arm in the coming months and is channelling significant investment into the sales and marketing for the B2B side of his business. Alongside this, Doran will be commissioning new delivery vehicles to reach new areas and cope with the rising demand.

"We've found that both our consumer and business clients are really on board with the fact that we care for the environment, something that's becoming more important to both the establishments that we supply and their customers," revealed Doran.

"This is a unique selling point for us and one that I hope will help us to expand our hospitality arm significantly. It's a very exciting time for Crag Spring Water."

Crag Spring Water now supply to La Popote in Marton, The Coast, Prestbury, Picturedrome Macclesfield, Altrincham Food Market, Mackie Mayor, Riverside House Hotel, Rafters at Riverside House, The George, Alstonefield, Chesterfield's The Peak Edge Hotel, Barnshaw Smithy, The Nags Head Tarporley, The Swan Tarporley and most recently, The Lion in Malpas.

Chef Joseph Rawlins, a satisfied customer from La Popote on Marton's Macclesfield Road, explains why he chose Crag Spring Water to appeal to the discerning clientele that visit the fine dining restaurant.

Chef Joseph Rawlins' employer, La Popote in Marton, is the latest SK11 business to choose Crag Spring Water.

"As a Chef, I love to know that all my ingredients are of the highest calibre," he said.

"The same goes for the bottled spring water that we provide our guests. It is true that Crag spring water is silky and delicate, making it a more than suitable complement to our dishes.

"The sparkling variation of the spring water is also gentle, not overpowering the palate like other bottles of sparkling often do.

"Doran at Crag is more than helpful, and it is clear that he is as passionate about water as I am about food."

Crag has built its reputation as a sustainable brand, something that Doran is keen to maintain as the business continues to grow. The product is supplied in reusable glass bottles which are then collected on the next delivery run and returned to be cleaned and used again.

Last month, they won an internationally-renowned award at a ceremony in Los Angeles. The Macclesfield water business won Silver in the Sparkling Low Minerality category at The FineWaters International Water Tasting Competition Taste and Design Awards 2022.
