A concert this month will see a Macclesfield choir team up with a performer from London's West End.

On Thursday March 21, Macclesfield Male Voice Choir (MaccMVC) will be joined in concert by Macclesfield-born Gemma Sutton.

She is now a well known performer in the West End and internationally.

Gemma will be supported by her band - the VBs, to sing jazz and cabaret numbers and some surprises too. MaccMVC will continue the theme with their selection of songs, to produce a thoroughly entertaining evening.

The concert is at 19.30 at St. Michael's & All Angels Church in Market Place Macclesfield SK10 1DY. All are welcome and tickets are £15 per person, with under 18s at just £5.

Tickets can be obtained via their website at www.maccmvc.co.uk or in person from one of the choir's singers. Tickets will also available in March at the Visitor Information Centres in Macclesfield (Market Place) and Congleton, Bollington Library and Knutsford Heritage Centre.

The choir can also be contacted by email at [email protected], phone 07471 230513, or on Facebook.
