Macclesfield's Summer Days street party postponed until 2027
By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 4th Feb 2026
Macclesfield's popular summer street party has been postponed.
Summer Days will not return until 2027, organisers have confirmed.
In its place, there will be a scaled down version of the event to coincide with the 1261 Festival on Saturday, June 20.
A Facebook post announcing the postponement read: "We know how much you all loved Summer Days last year and we'd hoped to repeat it this year.
"But sadly we've had to postpone.
"But don't worry, Summer Days will be back in 2027!
"When you can expect all of the amazing entertainment and atmosphere that you've come to expect from us, and much more."
The post continues: "Mark Saturday, June 20, in your diary, as I'll be planning a mini event to run alongside this year's 1261 Festival, who have wasted no time in snapping up the coveted midsummer spot in our absence.
"It's going to be a fabulous day!"
To help raise money for the 2027 Summer Days event, organisers are selling a limited edition tote bag.
Designed by Ashleigh Blades and printed by Jola Designs, the bags are priced at £5 and are available to purchase at Loola Loves now.
