A Macclesfield man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment.

Cheshire Police were called to reports of a domestic incident at an address on Countess Close in Macclesfield at 8.34pm on Sunday, April 19.

The caller reported that a man was 'refusing to leave the property'.

Officers attended and a 61-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of harassment without violence.

He has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
