Mum looking to give something back to hospital unit that cared for her premature baby

A mum is looking to thank hospital staff that cared for her premature baby.
Jenny Rexha has set herself the target of walking 100km throughout the month of May to raise money for Macclesfield Hospital's Special Care Baby Unit.
It comes after her son, Albi, was born at 33 weeks and had to spend time on the unit back in October.
Whilst there, Congleton resident Jenny realised they were in need of a new sofa bed to allow parents to stay overnight with their newborn.
She said: "It's terrifying having a baby in neonatal care and the team at Macclesfield SCBU were incredible.
"I felt like I'd known them for years, nothing was a problem and I've never felt so cared for and supported, so I really wanted to give something back.
"One of the first thing I noticed on the parent board was parents saying a new sofa bed would be great and I thought 'oh it can't be that bad' and I was wrong!
"I think it's really important to parents to have a good night after such a rough start, so it will mean the world to the team and future parents!"

Albi was born at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester before being as transferred to the SCBU at Macclesfield, where he would stay for nearly two weeks.
Jenny, who works at a nursery in Macclesfield, added: "Before you leave, parents stay the night to get used to having baby.
"It's a shock to the system but when you aren't in your own bed and you have a very tiny baby, it's not nice. "
Jenny has never taken on a charity fundraiser like this before.
She said: "I've always wanted too but never had something so close to my heart that I felt passion about to go and do something like this.
"I'm excited! I love the walks around Macclesfield and it's the perfect time of year to get out.
"I toyed with the idea of doing a big long walk but having two under fives, I thought spreading it out would be better and give them a chance to join me too - Albi will be with me the majority of the time in the carrier as he loves being out in the sunshine."

You can donate to Jenny's GoFundMe page here.
Jenny added: "Even if it's just a couple of pounds, I know the economy is tough at the moment but it's close to home and you have no idea that it could be you one day."
