Name of new 'authentic' Lebanese restaurant revealed

The name of a new Lebanese restaurant has been revealed.
After weeks of waiting, we finally have a name for the restaurant opening at The Clock in Broken Cross.
Signs for Janna, an Arabic word meaning paradise, were installed over the weekend.
It takes over the unit which was for a long time home to K.Burgess & Sons, a lawn mower and garden machinery store.

It is still not clear exactly when the restaurant will open, with signs on the shopfront stating only that is 'coming soon'.
The restaurant is described as offering 'authentic Lebanese cuisine'.
It will also have a bring your own alcohol policy.

Previously, it had been rumoured that the popular Lebanese restaurant Elaf may be relocating to Broken Cross, from its current site on Jordangate.
However, Elaf denied these rumours.
"We have no involvement in these matters and know nothing about them," said a member of staff.
"We want to emphasize that we remain focused on providing excellent food and service to our customers."
We would love to speak with the owners of Janna! If that's you, get in touch – [email protected].
