Pub to shut while brewery searches for new landlord

A pub will temporarily shut while a brewery searches for new landlords.
The Dolphin on Windmill Street will close later this week.
It comes after the current tenants decided to call it a day after 25 years at the helm.
Robinsons, the brewery who own the pub, are 'confident' the venue will be back open again soon.
A spokesperson said: "The Dolphin sits within our Pub Partnerships estate – meaning its run as an independent business.
"The current pub partner is leaving the Dolphin at the end of the month which means they will be closing their business.
"We're grateful for the last 25 years that our partners have run the site, and we wish them the best for the next stage of their life."

The spokesperson added: "We envision this site reopening in upcoming months with a new operator and an exciting new offer, it's not a permanent closure of the pub.
"We recognise the social value of pubs and the incredibly important role they play in the community – we do everything we can to keep pub open and alive within the community and this is no different at The Dolphin.
"The permanent closure of a pub is always the last resort and we're confident that The Dolphin will continue as a community pub."

Signs recently went up in the window of The Dolphin announcing its impending closure.
They read: "The Dolphin will close its doors for the final time on Friday, April 11, and we will be leaving on Monday, April 14.
"We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your custom and support over the last 25 years, we have made lots of memories and friends along the way."
