National coffee chain begin hiring process for new Macclesfield site

A new coffee shop is coming to Mill Street next year.

The ex-River Island building on 53 Mill Street will welcome national chain Coffee#1 in the new year.

The business, owned by Caffe Nero, already have a site in Buxton. And at an unconfirmed date in 2023, they will open in Macclesfield.

The coffee business has now started hiring for baristas and managers. The exact number of jobs it is set to bring to Macclesfield is yet to be confirmed.
