New Macclesfield ska festival is just three months away

A new Macclesfield ska festival kicks off three months from today.

While venues like The Nags Head on Waters Green and The Swan with Two Necks on Chestergate has hosted ska bands in the past.

This new celebration of the three-waved genre will be Macclesfield's biggest ever ska concert yet, taking place in Cinemac Live, which is Macclesfield's biggest live entertainment venue.

The Manchester Ska Foundation will be invading Cinemac with good vibes, and great tunes on August 31 2024.

Cinemac Live Director Jordan Wilson said: "Manchester Ska Foundation are a high energy, professional Ska band well known on the Two Tone Tribute Scene, and have a strong following in the north west and beyond."

"The band always raise the roof and get the party started. Playing hits from Two Tone Masters such as: Madness, The Specials, and Bad Manners, as well as Classic Ska from the likes of Desmond Decker and Prince Buster.

"We are delighted to welcome them to Macclesfield on August 31."

The Saturday evening event kicks off from 7:00pm, ending for 10:00pm.
