A new restaurant is coming to Macclesfield town centre.

The Laab - Street Food and Bar will open soon on Market Place.

They are located where Ocha restaurant used to be, until they retired on March 30.

And the new occupants have wasted no time in telling foodies of Macclesfield what their new business will be.

They will be located at 6A Market Pl, Cheshire, Macclesfield SK10 1EZ.

There's good news for those who will miss the Thai restaurant Ocha, as it will be a similar cuisine, with a twist.

The Laab is a Thai and Asian street food concept, which will "bring a breath of fresh air to Macclesfield's food scene."

No opening date or menu has been revealed as of yet, nor have any job vacancies been posted as of yet.

The Laab have been contacted for comment. In the meantime, you can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
