A Macclesfield artist is to create a boardgame after fans from across the globe raised almost double his fundraising goal.

Joe Wright, who sells enamel pins for a living on Etsy, is to create an apocalypse-themed card-based tabletop game featuring monsters and mechs.

GIGAS: Monster-Attack Simulation Zine's crowdfunder saw 40 people pledge money to bring the project to life, which will be released in July.
