Planned power cut set to leave dozens of homes and businesses without electricity

Dozens of properties will be without power this weekend.
Electricity North West will be carrying out engineering works in the Langley area on Sunday
It is understood around 44 properties will be impacted, including a number of businesses, such as the Leather's Smithy pub and the Tegg's Nose visitor centre and coffee shop.
A Facebook post from the country park read: "Unfortunately, due to a planned power cut, by Electricity North West, the whole building is closed for the day.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused but this is totally out of our control.
"Everything will be back open on Monday, September 1."
Power will be switched off between 9am and 4pm on Sunday.
Electricity North West say this is 'to allow our engineers to work safely as they carry out essential work to upgrade and reinforce our equipment to allow a new customer connection to our network'.
Properties in the following SK11 postcodes will be impacted - 0NE, 0NA, 0DE, 0LY, 0NR, 0NS, 0ND, 0AP, and 0AW.
Further power cuts are planned for September 3, affecting 11 properties in the Bollington area and two in Bosley.
