Police have launched an appeal after two homes were broken into.

Officers in Adlington are urging anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward following a pair of burglaries in the village.

The first incident occurred at around 6.45pm on Saturday, March 1.

The offender(s) smashed a glass panel in a rear door to gain entry to a property on Legh Road.

Police say at this time it is unknown if anything has been stolen from the address.

Then at 10pm that same day, offender(s) smashed the glass of a rear conservatory door of a property on London Road.

They stole car keys before making off in the occupants vehicle, a blue Toyota Auris.

Anyone with information or who has CCTV that captured anything suspicious is urged to contact 101 or email [email protected], quoting IML-2038880 for the Legh Road incident and IML- 2038488 for the incident on London Road.
