Police launch CCTV appeal after group of women steal from Co-op

Police have released CCTV images as they investigate a theft at a convenience store.

Officers in Macclesfield are looking to speak with four people following a theft at Co-op on Buxton Road.

It occurred sometime between 4.45pm and 5pm on Tuesday, March 25.

A group of women came into the store and took various items before leaving the shop without paying.

PC Melissa Mellor said: "I would urge anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV images to contact us so that we can progress with our enquiries into the theft."

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website, quoting 25000247133.
