Police name man charged with Macclesfield burglary

Police have named the man charged following a burglary in Macclesfield.
Christopher Carter, of Great King Street in Macclesfield, is due to appear in court tomorrow.
It comes after police were called to reports of a burglary at a residential property on George Street West on Tuesday, March 11.
The caller reported that unknown persons had gained entry into the address and stolen a number of items.
Following enquiries, officers arrested 51-year-old Carter, who was subsequently charged with one count of burglary.
He has since been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday, March 31.
