Police name pair of suspected dealers arrested during drug raids in Macclesfield

Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested following police raids in Macclesfield.

On Wednesday, October 22, Cheshire Police carried out warrants in the Macclesfield under Operation Toxic, part of Project Medusa - a Merseyside-led initiative set up to tackle suspected County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.

These raids led to the arrest of a man and a woman as officers seized cash and suspected class A drugs.

​Michael Ault, 50 and of Maple Avenue in Macclesfield, has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and Concerned in supply of heroin.

Meanwhile, 37-year-old Victoria Scott, of Knutsford Walk in Macclesfield, faces charges of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and concerned in supply of heroin.

Both have been remanded into custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 23.
