A popular coffee spot is on the move.

Cornershop Coffee have announced they will soon be departing their home of three years on Brock Street.

They will be opening at the unit recently vacated by The Monocle Cafe on Chestergate at the start of June.

A social media post announcing the move read: "After three years at our Brock Street location, an amazing opportunity has presented itself that we couldn't turn down.

"We're sad to leave the place where it all started but are equally excited to join the thriving independent community on Chestergate.

"Thank you for all the love and support."

The Brock Street site will be open until Friday, May 22.

Cornershop Coffee will then shut for a short period before opening at 72 Chestergate in early June.
