A viral sweet treat sensation is entering an exciting new chapter.

Baked By Bean has announced it will soon be opening a new bakery and cafe in central Macclesfield.

The business already enjoys a large presence in the area, with their range of brownies, cookies and cakes available at Picturedrome on Chestergate and outside The Davenport Arms in Woodford.

Sharing the news with her 103,000 Instagram followers, owner Becky Bean said: "How the F did I start baking in my home kitchen in Covid to just about to open the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing bakery/cafe I've ever seen in my life?

"And yes, we will have a small little cafe/grab-and-go section at the front so you can get a BBB in-house fix.

"There's so much to tell you all but I'll just leave you with this for now.

"I love you all and just trust the timing of your life, I have learnt that very quickly over the last nine months."

Baked By Bean was launched during Covid, with Becky cooking brownies at her home kitchen before delivering them to customers herself.

She later moved into a bakery at Brook House Farm, where her mobile cookie van had been based until recently moving to The Davenport Arms.

On Sunday, May 31, Becky confirmed she mad moved into a new commercial bakery on Great King Street, taking over the site previously home to Macclesfield Filipino Store.

The front of the property will be a small cafe/grab-and-go counter, with the open-plan layout offering a 'visual experience', allowing customers to see right into the bakery.

It is expected to be up and running by the end of June.
