A prolific offender has been put behind bars.

Charlotte Bradley will spend at least 14 days behind bars after admitting to breaching a criminal behaviour order.

The three-year order, handed to her in April 2023 at Crewe Magistrates Court, prohibited her from entering the town centre, as well as Lyme Green Business Park and the Tesco Superstore on Hibel Road.

Speaking at the time, Sergeant Matt Bassirat said: "Bradley is a prolific offender in the Macclesfield area and her behaviour brings misery to those who work and live here."

On Sunday, December 15, Bradley breached the aforementioned order by visiting the town centre without reasonable excuse.

The 42-year-old, of Masons Lane, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 17, where she pleaded guilty to the breach.

She was subsequently handed a 28-day prison sentence, of which she will have to serve at least half.
