A rock icon helped a Macclesfield café bar celebrate its first birthday.

Panadero Lounge swung open its doors on Mill Street exactly one year ago today (March 6).

A party was held to mark the occasion with the legendary Slade frontman Noddy Holder among those joining in the festivities.

A staff member said: "One year ago, we opened our doors to serve you, and what a year it's been!

"We've loved every moment of sharing great food, creating unforgettable memories, and becoming a part of this wonderful community.

"We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support we've received from our customers and community over the past year!

"We look forward to what the next year brings.

"Here's to many more years of delicious food and fantastic company!"
