Sea Fever return to Macclesfield for intimate gig to celebrate release of new album

Sea Fever are returning to Macclesfield to celebrate the release of their new album.
Proper Sound will host an acoustic set from Sea Fever later this month.
The show takes place on May 29, the night before the release of their second album, Surface Sound.
Lucie Wright, owner of Proper Sound, said: "We're thrilled to welcome Sea Fever to Proper Sound this month.
"As a local venue, it's a real privilege to support such a talented band from our area.
"They're fantastic live, and we're proud to be part of the build-up to their album launch.
"It's set to be a brilliant night!"

Sea Fever are fronted by Iwan Gronow, who many will know from his time with Haven and as the bassist for Johnny Marr.
New Order's Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman, both Macclesfield residents, also feature.
Completing the line-up is Section 25's Beth Cassidy and drummer Elliot Barlow, formerly of Brix and The Extricated.
It's been a busy year so far for the five-piece, having released four singles from the album already in the form of Loose Cut, Breaking Out, Shouldn't Have Been This Way and Go To Ground.

Surface Sound was written and recorded in studios in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
The album, released by Stockport-based indie label Cosmic Glue, was self-produced by Sea Fever with support from Pet Shop Boys' musical director, Pete Gleadall.
To celebrate its release on May 30, they will play an intimate acoustic gig at Proper Sound the night before.
Joining them on the night will be Tin Tin, DJ for New Order.
The show gets underway at 6pm.
