Go behind the scenes of Britain's Got Talent with a Macclesfield dance academy

A Macclesfield dance school could feature on the next series of Britain's Got Talent.
Sylk Dance Academy were recently invited by the producers of the hit TV show to feature as extras.
Young performers got to take part in interviews, candid filming and some students were even selected to dance solo for the cameras.
Amy Myers, who owns the dance and gymnastics studio on Brook Street, said: "We are so privileged to be given this experience for a second time, and it's a joy to see my dancers buzzing to take part, and making memories that will last forever.
"They film a lot of content so there is no guarantee if we will be featured, but we will have our eyes peeled when this season 19 premiers!'

This was the second time Sylk Dance Academy were invited to take part in the show, having previously featured in 2023.
Amy opened up the invite to anyone at the studio who wanted to be part of the experience.
Filming took place earlier this month at Manchester Central Convention Centre with dancers from all over the North West taking part.
Mia Politt, cheerleader at Sylk Dance, said: "It was the best experience ever!"
Oscar Whittaker added: "The studio looked exactly like the backstage of BGT which was so cool!
"We even got to dance with loads of confetti falling from the sky like when a golden buzzer goes off!"
