A much-loved free community festival is just weeks away.

The Rossendale Trust's Shine A Light Festival returns to Victoria Park in Macclesfield in July, promising another fun-filled day for the whole family.

Free to attend, the festival will feature live music performances, food and drink vendors and children's activities, including inflatables, face painting and balloon modelling.

Susanne Tidswell, head of marketing and fundraising at the Rossendale Trust, said: "We are delighted to be bringing the Shine A Light Festival back to Victoria Park this year.

"The event is a wonderful celebration of the incredible work carried out by local charities and community organisations across Macclesfield and the surrounding area.

"It provides a fantastic opportunity for people to come together with family and friends, enjoy a great day out, and support causes that make a real difference.

"Every penny raised from the festival will help the Rossendale Trust continue to provide essential services for adults with learning disabilities, enabling people to live independently in their own homes, make their own choices, and lead fulfilling lives as valued members of our community."
