A Macclesfield charity is gearing up for a busy end to the year.

A fashion show, a Christmas market and a brass band concert are just some of the things going on at the Rossendale Trust Ttowards the end of 2026.

These events will help to raise funds to support the charity's work, providing life-enhancing opportunities and services for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Susanne Tidswell, head of PR and fundraising, said: "These events are incredibly important to our charity, helping us raise vital funds and awareness for our work.

"We're enormously grateful for the continued support of the local community, whose generosity makes such a meaningful difference.

"Each event also promises fantastic entertainment, and we look forward to bringing people together to celebrate, have fun and support a great cause."

Cocktails & Canvas

First up is the Cocktail & Canvas event on Thursday, October 15.

Head over to Picturedrome on Chestergate for a fun and creative evening where an instructor will guide you step-by-step to painting a highland cow.

A fantastic selection of cocktails and other drinks will be available to purchase from the bar, allowing you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere while you paint.

Fashion Show & Christmas Market

The Rossendale Trust's annual fashion show and Christmas market takes over Shrigley Hall on Thursday, November 12.

Start the evening with a welcome drink on arrival, before browsing a fantastic selection of Christmas market stalls, perfect for festive treats, unique gifts and a little Christmas shopping.

The highlight of the evening will be the charity fashion show, where Rossendale Trust tenants and staff will take to the catwalk to showcase the latest collections from SOS Boutique in Bramhall and Marks & Spencer.

Brass Band Christmas Concert

In December, the Rossendale Trust closes out the year in style with the Rode Hall Silver Band Christmas concert.

Taking place at St Michael & All Angels Church in the heart of Macclesfield, this special evening promises to fill the church with the wonderful sounds of the festive season.

Refreshments will be available to purchase on the evening, with proceeds supporting the charity's work.
