A Macclesfield veterinary practice has enjoyed a successful first year at its new home.

Wright and Morten Vets are celebrating one year since moving into their purpose-built small animals' hospital at 107 Heather Close in Lyme Green.

The modern, fully equipped facility has helped the team to provide the very best care and comfort for pets and their owners.

Clinical director and veterinary surgeon Pete Andrew says the move to Lyme Green has been an exciting step forward for the long-established Macclesfield practice.

He said: "After many years at our previous site, it's been fantastic to settle into a building created specifically for the needs of our patients, the new premises allow us to offer the highest standards of care in a bright, modern, and welcoming environment."

The spacious new practice features multiple consulting rooms, a state-of-the-art surgical suite, CT scanner, separate cat, dog and exotic wards, and a calm, welcoming waiting area.

Since opening on November 12, 2024, Wright and Morten has expanded its veterinary and nursing teams, introduced new diagnostic technology, and launched a range of wellness and preventative health clinics.

These improvements have enabled the practice to offer a broader range of services for the community's pets.

They have also just gained their ISFM Gold Cat Friendly award, and their RCVS Hospital status has been renewed, making them the only accredited veterinary hospital in Macclesfield.

To mark the first anniversary, the team hosted a bake-off and will also be arranging a Christmas collection for the Windway Trust.

Pete added: "We're incredibly grateful for the continued support from our clients over the past year.

"It's been a fantastic first year here in Lyme Green, and we're excited for what the future holds."
