Car dealership continues its support for East Cheshire Hospice with latest donation

A Macclesfield car dealership has provided a financial boost for a charity's vital work.
Chrome Motors has continued its support for East Cheshire Hospice, donating £100 for every car sold
On Friday, April 17, the charity's corporate fundraiser, Luke Oldham, was presented with a cheque for £2,500 by Danny Towns, owner of Chrome Motors.
Luke said: "We're incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from Chrome Motors.
"Initiatives like this not only raise valuable funds but also help build awareness of the work we do.
"It's fantastic to see local businesses getting behind the Hospice in such a meaningful way."
Since launching the initiative in October 2025, Chrome Motors has raised £4,500 to support the hospice's vital work across the local community.
The idea was driven by a desire to create something sustainable, rather than a one-off donation.
By linking contributions directly to car sales, every customer purchase plays a part in supporting patients and families who rely on the hospice's care.
As a member of the hospice's new Business Club, Chrome has also benefited from being part of a network of like-minded local organisations.
The Brook Street dealership plans to continue the initiative throughout 2026.
Danny said: "East Cheshire Hospice is one of those organisations that really matters locally.
"The work they do for families is incredible, and it's something that touches a lot of people - we wanted to do something practical that makes a difference over time.
"The £100 per car initiative is simple, but it means every sale contributes to something bigger.
"It's been great to see it build since October, and we're proud to support the hospice in this way."
The East Cheshire Hospice Business Club launches on Wednesday, April 22.
Taking place at Bollington Brewery on Parker Street, local businesses will enjoy exclusive brewery access, beer tasting and nibbles, inspiring hospice stories, and a first look at the new Business Club.
