East Cheshire Hospice's festival of light and love returns this Spring
By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 1st Feb 2026
East Cheshire Hospice's Starlight Walk returns this spring.
As dusk falls, the community are invited to wander through the grounds of Capesthorne Hall which will be illuminated by glowing lanterns, twinkling lights and atmospheric fire pits.
Along the way, you will discover interactive points to pause, reflect and celebrate your loved ones in meaningful ways.
Luke Brightmore, the hospice's marketing and communications manager, said: "We're incredibly excited to welcome our community back for this year's Starlight Walk.
"It's always a truly special evening, and seeing hundreds of supporters lighting up the beautiful grounds of Capesthorne Hall is something we look forward to every year.
"The funds raised make a real and lasting difference, helping us provide compassionate care and support to local people when they need it most.
"We're so grateful to everyone taking part. Every step you take helps us continue our vital work."

Described as a festival of light and love, the Starlight Walk takes place on Thursday, April 16, with gates opening at 6pm.
You can check out a range of food, drink and fundraising stalls and enjoy entertainment on the Starlight Stage before setting off on the walk at 7.15pm.
Participants can choose to complete the 2.5km loop one, two or four times and are encouraged to embrace the festival vibe - think glitter, glow sticks, bright colours and flower crowns.
On the route you will find a fire pit with music and marshmallows and a celebration space to write a note, share a story or say a prayer with the East Cheshire Hospice chaplain.
You can also place your own lantern along the water's edge and help create a magical illuminated pathway (as seen above).
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join too, so long as they are kept on a lead at all times.
Early bird tickets are on sale now, rising to full price on March 16.
