A pop-up choir has raised thousands for charity.
The All Men Can Sing choir staged a concert at Macclesfield United Reformed Church earlier this month in aid of East Cheshire Hospice.
Having only formed in mid-February, the 14-strong group came together to raise over £2,000, performing to a crowd of nearly 200 people.
Led by Chris Cromar and Anna Chiu, they were joined on stage by the established Macclesfield Male Voice Choir and soloist, Kimberley Raw.
Luke Brightmore, marketing and communications manager, said: "We are absolutely delighted by the success of the All Men Can Sing concert.
"Raising over £2,000 for East Cheshire Hospice is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the commitment, generosity and talent of everyone involved.
"Our heartfelt thanks go to the All Men Can Sing choir, as well as the Macclesfield Male Voice choir, and everyone who came along to support the event.
"Funds raised like this make a genuine difference to local people and families when they need us most, and we are incredibly grateful to the choir members for choosing to support the hospice in such a meaningful way."
The 'All Men Can Sing' project was financially enabled by the D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust and Macclesfield Town Council with practical support from Chrome Motors and East Cheshire Hospice itself.
Inspired by the concert, many members of the pop-up choir have, or will soon join the the Macclesfield Male Voice Choir to further their new interest in singing.
Plans are already in hand for a second 'All Men Can Sing' choir, likely to be run in early 2027.
