Macclesfield College is set to receive a huge cash injection to fund improvements.
MP for Macclesfield Tim Roca has confirmed that the college on Park Lane will receive £640,791 for essential repairs and upgrades to its facilities.
It forms part of the Government's £307 million national investment into improving college buildings across England.
Mr Roca said: "I'm really pleased that Macclesfield College will receive £640,791 to improve its buildings and facilities.
"This is a vital investment in our local college, creating better modern spaces where students can learn, develop skills and prepare for good careers.
"Colleges like Macclesfield are at the heart of opportunity in our community, and this funding will help ensure young people have the environment they need to succeed.
"It also shows that the Labour Government is investing in further education here in Macclesfield and right across the country."

Mr Roca explained that the funding will help to address long-standing maintenance issues, from repairing roofs and upgrading heating systems to improving classrooms and learning spaces.
However, each college that receives funding will have the flexibility to invest where it is most needed.
This investment is part of a wider £1.7 billion programme to modernise further education colleges by 2030.
