Stealth BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) Macclesfield has launched a back-to-school promotion to celebrate the new academic year.

They are offering 5% off the first month for both kids and adults with code 'Stealth5'.

Owner and head coach George Stephens said: "Just give it a try - most people end up falling in love with it!

"BJJ is great for everyone as it can be adapted to suit your needs, whether that is for sport, self-defense, or just a fun way to keep fit and be part of a great community.

"For kids, it teaches discipline and respect, and hopefully incentivizes them to keep themselves out of trouble."

George appreciates some parents may have reservations when they think of combat sports and martial arts.

He added: "The only dangers really are like any sport - obviously, there is a slight risk of injury, but it's nothing to put you off.

"Any sport has risk at the end of the day.

"We do our best to keep a safe environment and teach proper safety in our technique and classes."

With their new gym at Bridge Street Mills, Stealth BJJ Macclesfield boasts a varied timetable, offering something for everyone.

Kids classes (for ages six to 14) run at 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday, with a 10am class on Saturdays.

There are also parent and child classes (ages two to five) which take place at 4.15pm on Tuesdays and 9.15am on Saturdays.

For adults, the beginner classes runs every weekday at 6pm.

Stealth also offer early morning and lunchtime classes to fit around those with busy schedules.

You don't have to wait until September either, with classes running throughout the summer holidays.
