Macclesfield Town Council has confirmed the return of Spooky Saturday, taking place on October 31.

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with the council having teamed up with even more businesses and suppliers.

Events manager Jen Holland said: "I am thrilled at the fantastic mix of elements we have lined up for Spooky Saturday this year.

"We have got a few new elements as well as some old favourites.

"The free buses will be running on the day, and it would be great to see as many people as possible in town enjoying what we have planned."
