Macclesfield's Welsh-speaking population enjoyed a belated St David's Day.
The Macclesfield Welsh Learners and Speakers group recently hosted a special event to celebrate the patron saint of Wales.
Held at the Silk Museum, the event featured singing, Welsh cakes and of course, daffodils.
Co-founder John Stephens said: "It's a real pleasure to be part of a group where people are clearly enjoying themselves, building friendships and supporting each other in their language journeys.
"On his deathbed St David is reported to have urged his followers to 'do the little things in life'.
"There are plenty of 'good little things' being done in this group and we're very grateful to the Silk Museum for their hospitality and support, it's a wonderful setting to meet and sing."
The Macclesfield Welsh Learners and Speakers group is thriving following its launch two years ago.
It caters to both experienced speakers looking to blow away the cobwebs and those who are brand new to the language.
The group meets at the Silk Museum café at 10am on the first Saturday of each month.
After enjoying a chat, a subset of singers head off to practise amongst the looms - providing a welcome surprise for museum visitors.
Natalie Lane, the Silk Museum's education coordinator, said: "We love having the Welsh Learners and Speakers in the Silk Museum.
"They bring a fabulous energy and joy. Visitors love hearing the singing in the galleries.
"Groups like these help to make the museum feel alive and contribute to the buzz of the place.
"March finds us deep in Women's History Month and plans are well under way for a Textile Week in September.
"Following our consultation last year we are doing a lot of planning to make sure that we are offering what the people of Macclesfield want. Watch this space!"
