Since opening its doors last year, Gravity Pilates has quickly established itself as the area's leading boutique reformer Pilates studio.

The studio, located at Bridge Street Mills, has helped people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels transform their health, build strength and feel their best with over 135+ five star client reviews and many outstanding physical and mental wellness transformations.

Joint founder Andrea Gill, who has worked in the health and wellness sector for over 30 years and more recently at Macclesfield General Hospital as a senior staff nurse, said: "We wanted to open a reformer Pilates studio to help make the Macclesfield community healthier.

"Through the mindful movement of Pilates, we help all kinds of people feel stronger, more flexible and just happier in themselves.

"The first year of Gravity Pilates has been amazing! We have built a strong community full of hardworking individuals that truly want to change their lives through Pilates."

Instructor Lily Worrall, who has been teaching at Gravity Pilates since it first opened, added: "We have had all kinds of people walk through our doors and everyone who comes in always loves the classes.

"A lot of people struggle with entering the fitness space for the first time as it can be quite intimidating. At our studio, clients are made to feel comfortable as soon as they walk through the door.

"It has been truly inspirational for me as an instructor to watch our clients progress and it's amazing to be part of such a friendly and inspirational community."

More than a workout

At its core, Gravity Pilates offers reformer Pilates in a small, personalised studio setting.

This allows every client to receive tailored guidance, ensuring sessions are both safe and effective, whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced in your practice.

Andrea added: "Our new age Pilates reformers are much more effective than traditional reformers, helping you to achieve results quicker.

"Whether your goal is get stronger, gain muscle definition, improve flexibility, you will achieve this quicker on our reformers.

"As well as this, our studio is very versatile so all of our classes are very beginner friendly."

While the results speak for themselves, what truly sets Gravity Pilates apart is its community.

Over the past year, the studio has built a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable progressing at their own pace.
