Macclesfield Nub News is kept free thanks to sponsors like Easy Winning Limited.

One of our sponsors is Easy Winning Limited, an online competitions firm who host contests for the general public to potentially win every day.

And this week, they are hosting a novel competition where they will literally give free money to local businesses.

And you could nominate a business in Macclesfield!

Easy Winning Limited founder Charles Edwards said: "This is huge, we are giving £5000 away to local businesses."

"If you know a local business that you'd love to help out, give them a tag below and we'll add them to our sponsorship wheel.

"On this Friday evening's daily cash draw, we're going to spin the wheel 10 times and give £500 to every single business it lands on.

"Businesses MUST be independent and in return, all we ask is that you give us a share on your Facebook page !

"Get tagging on the comments of this Facebook post, and we'll do the rest.

"Entries close Friday 11:30am. Make sure you've tagged them before this time on the comment section of this Facebook post.

"We feel very grateful to be in a position to do this, huge thank you to everyone who takes part in our competitions and best of luck to all the businesses that get tagged."

So if you have a favourite small business in Macclesfield, be it an indie coffee shop or independent retailer, why not give them a tag?

In addition to this business contest, and daily prize draws for the general public, they also do prize draws for charity.

Recent charities supported which serve the Macclesfield area include Macclesfield Children & Baby Library, and Buxton Mountain Rescue.

Recent winner Fran bagged this Ford car.

Easy Winning Limited has been going since March 2020, and has sponsored Macclesfield Nub News since March 2023.

Recent prizes awarded to the public include a £5000 jackpot for player Sian Gill.

Sian entered at a price point of just 20p per ticket.

Elsewhere, Sarah Westley won £500, in the cash call competition.

This is where Easy Winning randomly calls someone who has previously entered a contest, to award them with a prize.
