Thursday (17/04)

Badge making

Join Cartoonist Marc Jackson on Thursday for a fun and lively badge making session.

Held at the Room for Comics, there is no booking required for the drop-in session which runs from 1pm to 3pm.

Priced at £2 per badge, the session is suitable for ages five and above.• Suitable for ages 5+

Live music

THR33 kick off the long weekend at Mash at 10.30pm on Thursday.

With Nick Steed on keys and vocals, Greg Morgan on drums and Pete Mason on guitar, the band will be paying tribute to everything from Hendrix to Wonder, as well as playing some originals.

Return to Mash on Saturday when Legs on Wheels take to the stage.

The art rock band from Manchester have been likened to Black Midi, Cardiacs and Frank Zappa.

Saturday (19/04)

Easter Egg-stravaganza

Macclesfield Town Council is hosting a special Easter event on Saturday.

Head to the town centre from 11am to 3pm for crafts, face painting, circus acts, bubbles and more.

Rachael Higham, the town council's event officer, said: "We want to help people make the most of the long Easter weekend. 

"Traditionally we have always had a sunny day and fingers are crossed for this year too!"

90s Night

The Bate Hall is going back in time this weekend.

From 9pm onwards, the Chestergate pub will be hosting a 90s night.

"Missing that nostalgic feeling? Come join us as we head back to the 90s for a night of great music, great beer and even better dancing!"

Sunday (20/04)

Rock 'n' Roll afternoon

The Broken Cross Club is hosting an a rock and roll afternoon on Sunday.

Entry for the event, which runs from 1pm to 5pm, is priced at £12.

The Firebirds will be taking to the stage.
