May Tap Night

Wincle Beer get the bank holiday weekend started with their second tap night of the season.
They will be joined by Cheddleton Oat Cakes, who you may recognise from the Treacle Market.
The May Tap Night runs from 5pm to 10pm.
Saturday (02/05)
Spring Floral Arrangement Workshop

Head over to Picturedrome on Saturday afternoon and take part in this two-hour workshop.
You will learn about flower care, designing your arrangement and sustainable flower arranging techniques, using locally grown flowers.

Let's DRAW! Star Wars Super Special

Room for Comics are getting into the Star Wars Day spirit early.
At their annual celebration of the iconic film series, Marc Jackson will be showing you how to bring your favourite characters to life.
The event is actually sold out but you can join the waitlist to find out about any last-minute cancellations.
Hansard

Hansard's run at MADS Theatre comes to an end on Saturday, May 2.
This tender and brutal comedy/drama, set around the passing of the Section 28 legislation in 1988, is a witty and devastating portrait of the British governing class.

Picnic in the Park

Victoria Park plays host to MaccPride's Picnic in the Park on Sunday.
From 11am to 4pm, you can enjoy food and drink vendors, charity and market stalls, crown green bowling, vintage fire engine and other emergency services, children's games and a bouncy castle!
There will also be the Pooch of Pride Dog Show, with a new category for 'Best Trick'.
Spring Fest Car Park Party

The Park Green Car Park will be celebrating the Bank Holiday Weekend in style.
Expect live music from 2pm to 8pm, with The Bad Actors, The Chalets and DJs taking to the stage.
There will also be food served up by Disco Tots.
Every Day Counts Cup

Over in Bollington, a charity football match and U12 tournament is taking place to raise money for MND Association and CRY.
The main event will see Hasler FC take on Utteridge United in the Every Day Counts Cup.
Bollington United's cafe will be open for food and drink, with a few stalls on offer as well to support the fundraising.
