MACC-POW!

MACC-POW! is back for its 11th year!
The festivities kick-off on Thursday, with a packed programme of events bringing together local and international creators from the world of comic book art.
Highlights include:
- I'LL DRAW ANYTHING! with cartoonist/author James Kochalka
- MENACINGLY GOOD! with Beano cartoonist Nigel Parkinson
- MAKE MANGA! with Sonia Leong
From Screen to Stage

Looking a little outside town, join Alderley & Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company for an evening of unforgettable songs from some of the best-loved films ever made and the stage shows they inspired.
All proceeds from the show will go towards supporting the society, helping AWMTC continue bringing high-quality amateur musical theatre to the local community.

Bingo

Join the Rossendale Trust for an evening of excitement, camaraderie, and the thrill of the win at Bingo.
Doors open at 7pm and at 7.30pm its eyes down and dabbers at the ready.
Tickets cost just £20 and include a bingo card, light bites and nibbles and the chance to win some fabulous prizes.

Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Week culminates on Saturday, June 27, with an Armed Forces Day parade.
Veterans and serving men and women are invited to take part, asked to meet outside the Post Office opposite Age UK at 10.30am.
The parade will set off at 11am, arriving in Market Place at 11.15am, where there will be a number of information and other stalls located in the grounds of St Michaels Church.

Sunday (28/06)
Prestbury Summer Fair

Head over to Prestbury on Sunday for this twice-annual market.
Expect a range of local producers offering everything from pies, cheese and mezze to handmade arts and crafts and gourmet dog treats.
There will also be a funfair, face painters, a Punch and Judy show, samba bands and live music.
