A dementia specialist care village recently had a special visitor.

Belong Macclesfield, on Kennedy Avenue, welcomed Tim Roca on Wednesday, August 6.

The Macclesfield MP had a chance to tour the facilities and find out more about the services Belong offer.

Cheryl Davies, general manager at Belong Macclesfield, said: "We were very pleased to welcome Tim Roca.

"Our customers relished the opportunity to chat with their local MP, ask him questions and put forward their ideas."

During his visit, Mr Roca spoke with customers and colleagues, toured the community village and learned about the services open to local people, including B's Memory Café.

This monthly event offers free activities and dementia advice to anyone needing it.
